Saturday Morning Nature Walk

One of the benefits of living where we do is having a nature preserve behind our house complete with views of the Brazos river, it is beautiful and a short walk that the boys can burn some energy on. Saturday morning was finally cool here and we decided to bundle up with some coffee and go down the the river for our ritual "coffee talk" for Harry and I and a little rock throwing (for the boys). My camera settings were acting up so most of the photos did not turn out but here is what we got...Just to get a glimpse of what the trail looks like, it is about a mile long, round trip.

:) Thanks Chelsea, funny thing all the surrounding areas have been leveled to build more houses! Not so pretty there, hopefully they will keep this area preserved though. "They paved paradise and put up a parking lot..."

Thanks fjor sharing the beauty of fall and of course of my grandchildren. Some more great pictures to add to my collection. Love you.
